--May 8, 2012.

It is with great pleasure that we announce the appointment of Ms Félixe Arsenault Waalwijk as Coordinator of the Centre. She took office on April 16.

Félixe is of Acadian and Dutch descent and is very proud of it. A native of the Bay of Chaleurs, the first years of her life were in Ontario, while living and studying in French. She worked in that community as a volunteer, student and employee in both English and French. Whether through her travel experiences, her education or as a volunteer for various community organizations, such as a radio station and a newspaper, she has always sought to give her best in order to make a difference. Through these experiences, she developed openness, awareness, as well as a desire to explore her environment and get involved in its development.

Félixe studied International Studies at York University and art history and journalism in Montreal.
We welcome her and wish her good luck in her new role!
