larger_img_2292.a_0.jpgThe Musée de la Gaspésie would like to see a lot of kids take advantage of its big spring break special! In fact the museum will be opening its doors free of charge to kids from schools across the region.

Free entry will be effective the whole of spring break, from February 28 through March 4, 2011.

Students are invited to come and see the two new exhibitions, with their interactive features, that are currently on display at the museum. The first of these exhibitions, "Corsairs and Pirates in the Gaspé," is all about the pirates that really and truly used to frequent the Gaspé coast -- a part of our history that many people are not aware of.

The second exhibition is called "Treasures from Our Collections," and features some of the museum's most precious artifacts.

For more information on opening hours at the museum, call: (418) 368-1534, poste 110, or email: animation@museedelagaspesie.ca.
