If you currently work in a non-profit organization or have ever thought about donating time to support a good cause, the Quebec Anglophone Heritage Network (QAHN) wants to hear from you!

In preparation for the 2016 Volunteering Matters conference series QAHN surveyed the needs of a cross-section of voluntary organizations in English Quebec and came up with a list of eight possible workshop topics. Please tell us which of these would be of most value to your community group, by answering these four questions.

Your feedback is important as we move forward with plans to hold six one-day conferences in the following cities and regions: Montreal; Quebec City; Montérégie; Western Quebec; Gaspé Coast; and the Eastern Townships.

Specific dates, venue and registration information for the Volunteering Matters workshops should be ready, starting in December.

These workshops are being planned as part of a QAHN's project, Fostering Organizational Renewal through Enriching Volunteer Experience and Recognition (FOREVER) and are made possible by a financial contribution from the Department of Canadian Heritage.

Over the course of the next 12 months, QAHN and its partners will explore ways to attract new volunteers, offering guidance to organizations experiencing volunteer fatigue. Leading this initiative are veteran QAHN project managers Dwane Wilkin and Heather Darch.
